EXMOUTH RNLI'S carriage launch training was abandoned when a woman was last week reported in distress on the cliff tops at Budleigh Salterton.

EXMOUTH RNLI'S carriage launch training was abandoned when a woman was last week reported in distress on the cliff tops at Budleigh Salterton.

The inshore lifeboat crew, police and the coastguards made a search of the area for the missing woman.

She was found inland and the crews were stood down.
