BRIXINGTON Primary School pupils turned teachers when they gave a lesson in literacy to university students.
The youngsters were invited to Exeter University to demonstrate to student teachers their letters and sounds phonic lesson.
Some 12 Year 1 children visited the St Luke's Campus as part of the leading literacy partnership.
A second visit has been planned for March.
A Brixington Primary School spokeswoman said: "The twenty minute demonstration included listening, reading, spelling and writing, just as if they were in their own classroom,
