Youngsters from four primary schools in Exmouth took part in a creative fun day with author Josh Lacey
Children’s adventure author Josh Lacey teamed up with Exmouth pupils when he spent the day at Brixington Primary School brushing up the youngsters’ writing skills.
Youngsters from St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Exeter Road Community Primary School and Marpool Primary School were also invited along to take part in the creative fun day.
Nicki Wood, literacy subject leader at Brixington Primary School, said: “This was a great opportunity for the children to interact with peers from other schools within our community.
“They all enjoyed working alongside a published author, who not only extended their writing skills, but also inspired and enthused them. “All in all, this proved to be a creative and fun day for all involved.”
