Pupils at Brixington Primary School are among youngsters in Exmouth vying to desgin an official Olympic 2012 souvenir
Exmouth’s primary school pupils have been avidly designing T-shirts for the Olympics in the hope their work will become an official souvenir.
Youngsters across the country will be each given a T-shirt to commemorate the 2012 London Olympic game, bearing a unique design created by a British child.
The winner of the competition will be chosen by Olympic swimmer Liam Tancock via a web link from his training base in Florida.
Schools across the country have been invited to send in five designs created by pupils that could become the chosen official T-shirt logo.
Brixington Primary School pupils are waiting with baited breath to see if any of their handful of designs - chosen after the school launched a competition - will be picked as overall winner by the Olympic swimmer.
Ali Holdstock, from Exmouth’s Tennis and Fitness Centre, presented the five lucky winners with prizes of free membership to use the centre’s facilities.
