Officers said homes in Summer Close and Nelson Drive had been targeted after thieves gained entry through insecure doors and windows.
PC Sallyanne Southern said: "Make sure that doors and windows are locked when not in use, this will reduce the chance of becoming a victim of crime."
Officers are appealing for information after a PS3 was on Sunday stolen from a home in Summer Close.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police, quoting reference KE/10/674.
A home in Nelson Drive home, also on Sunday, had speakers stolen.
