Exmouth police to teach bike safety

PCSO Donna Baker will next term be holding Bikeability cycle training courses for Year 6 children who wish to take part, at Clyst St Mary, Lady Seawards, Woodbury and Woodbury Salterton primary schools.

PCSO Donna Baker will next term be holding Bikeability cycle training courses for Year 6 children who wish to take part, at Clyst St Mary, Lady Seawards, Woodbury and Woodbury Salterton primary schools.

The children have training both off the road (level one) and on road (level two), which is held over five sessions where the youngsters learn to negotiate junctions, parked cars and increase their awareness of general road hazards.

PCSO Baker said: "This course gives our young cyclists an excellent framework for safer road cycling.
