EXMOUTH police are next week holding a community day in Brixington to give residents the chance to air their concerns.

The community action day is taking place in Sycamore Close on Tuesday August 4 as a result of a recent spate of anti-social behaviour incidents.

Now the police have successfully dealt with the two culprits responsible they are giving residents the chance to bring up any other concerns or issues they may have.

But the day is not just about policing issues - the fire brigade and other local agencies will also set up in the close.

The police are keen to hear residents' thoughts on how they dealt with the anti-social behaviour issues and the individuals responsible for terrorising the close.

Exmouth neighbourhood beat team leader sergeant Nick Southern said: "People have the opportunity to ask any questions they want.

"Because we are on the doorstep we can get the feedback from that community of there is any specific work we need to do.

"We ran a similar community day in Littleham, which was successful."

Neighbourhood team leader sergeant Phil Godfrey said: "Having other agencies there gives people the chance to think of other things to ask. It is interesting what comes out of a community day.
