The officer said a residents' general meeting highlighted the need for pedestrian crossings at Littleham Cross.
PCSO Nikki Payne said: "The county council are to re-visit the matter of pedestrian crossings at Littleham Cross.
"Councillor Humphreys is taking the lead in trying to progress this matter.
