POLICE were within minutes twice called to Littleham when Mountain Close was targeted by yobs.

Officers from Exmouth received two calls in the early hours of Monday morning following two separate reports of vandalism.

The police said a glass door panel was broken and moments later reports were received that stones were being thrown at another property's windows.

Police community support officer Nikki Payne said: "Once again this quiet cul-de-sac and the residents who live there are being targeted by what could be an individual or small group.

"We urge anyone with information to come forward. If you have children that have spoken about the issues in the street, please help to improve the lives of the people that live there by talking to your local officers."

Those with information are asked to call the police, in confidence, on 08452 777444, and ask for PCSO Nicola Payne or PC Sallyanne Southern.

Or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
