Exmouth police are appealing for the drivers who saw a female cyclist attempting to flag down cars near Woodbury, to get in touch.
Officers said a woman cycling along the B3179, towards Woodbury, on Tuesday October 11, had attempted to flag down two cars at around 10am.
One of the vehicles belonged to a driving school, the police said.
