Police appeal after alleged Exmouth assault

Police say the incident took place at an address in Beacon Hill on Tuesday (March 20).

Police are appealing for witnesses and following an alleged assault in Exmouth.

Officers were called at around 1am on Tuesday, March 20, to reports of an altercation involving two men at an address on Beacon Hill.

According to police, it was also reported that a bladed object was used during the incident.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman said: “A 36-year-old man sustained injuries to his back, arms and legs which are not being treated as life-threatening or changing.

“A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of GBH and later released under investigation pending further enquiries.”

Officers say the men involved are known to each other.
