THE PRINCIPAL of Exmouth's School of Performing Arts is delighted after six students excelled in exams.
Sophie Beacon, Lizzie Walker, Georgina Lockhart, Alisha Cardwell, Rosie Phillips and Holly Sealey took a mix of ISTD modern and tap exams and achieved good marks.
Principal Jane Harvey said: "I was very pleased with their results, especially as they had to travel to Exeter and dance in a studio they are not used to.
"The girls worked extremely hard on their grades and it had also not been long since they had taken part in the school's show, so had been concentrating on dances for that."
The school runs classes in street, jazz, ballet, modern, tap, latin and drama at Knappe Cross Community Centre in Brixington Lane.
