Grandmother-of-five Enid Pearson, of Bapton Lane, has spent the last year writing and illustrating Mother Fox and the Sausages, and Holiday Ted.

Last year the former Bassets Farm Primary School teacher released the tale, Exmouth Duck in Trouble - her second book - inspired after creating a cardboard duck with her two youngest grandchildren and dreaming up adventures.

Enid's new stories will be available from Little Evers, in Exmouth, and other outlets.
