The Exmouth and District Netball League’s recent tournament to celebrate the competition’s 30th anniversary raised £300 for charity.

The tournament, held at Exmouth’s Cranford Club, was won by the Comets netball team.

All funds raised were donated to the East Devon Cystic Fibrosis Quality of Life Fund.

Sue Stoneman, trustee of the charity said: “A big thank-you to all the members of the teams who took part in this event.

“The charity is currently raising funds to transform a courtyard at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital into an outside covered gym and seating area for patients.”
