Exmouth National Coastwatch Institution appeal for new members after deputy station manager retires

EXMOUTH National Coastwatch Institution (NCI) bade a fond farewell to deputy station manager Yvonne Anderton, who has retired after six years service.

EXMOUTH National Coastwatch Institution (NCI) bade a fond farewell to deputy station manager Yvonne Anderton, who has retired after six years service.

She was presented with a certificate of recognition of outstanding service to the Exmouth NCI branch, and an engraved cut glass vase.

Appointed as new deputy station manager is Gordon Gray, who was presented with his epaulettes by station manager Bill Nash.

Mr Nash said: "During Yvonne's time on the committee, she has served as secretary and duty watch roster officer."

Exmouth NCI is on the lookout for volunteers keen to join the committee.
