He is the latest of a number of recent volunteers to complete their watchkeeping training course and pass an assessment.
Barry Davis, left, was presented wiith a badge in recognition of giving five years of service to Exmouth Coastwatch.
A spokesperson for NCI Exmouth, said: “Additional volunteers help to enable Exmouth Coastwatch to continue the new summer regime of increased watch times, and thereby provide greater safety for those using the beach and estuary throughout the year.”
Exmouth Coastwatch said it can now provide mariners with radio checks, give current weather and tide times, swell, and local facilities information, via VHF Radio Channel 65
