A MUSICIAN from Exmouth has proved to hit the right note as far as one professional band is concerned.
Daniel Bage, of Waverley Road, Exmouth, has been in the United States for two months after being appointed as a second guitarist for Mutiny Within. The six-piece band specialise mainly in heavy metal.
The 23-year-old said the group, signed to Roadrunner records, are now recording their debut album in Pompano Beach, Florida.
Hopeful the band will have a successful future, the former Exmouth Community College said: "The biggest influences are European metal bands and more recently America metal.
"The European influence concentrates on the musician side of things while the America is for the aggression and modern vocal styles."
Daniel's first experience in a band was with Exmouth-based group Pacify seven years ago.
