Exmouth Musical Theatre Company (EMCo)’s Anne Killoran is celebrating a prestigious win.

She’s been awarded the National Operatic and Dramatic Association’s Rose Bowl award for best actress in a musical for her performance as Mrs Overall in EMCo’s summer production of Acorn Antiques - the Musical.

Having fought off talented competition from Bristol to Penzance, Anne said she was thrilled to be given the award. Michelle Chudley, EMCo’s chairman, said she was proud of the theatre company, who are committed to putting on professional quality shows for Exmouth audiences. She was delighted to see that the talent within the company was being recognised.

EMCo is currently rehearsing for its next show, Rock of Ages. It’s at the Exmouth Pavilion, November 22-25. Tickets - £15 (standard, adult), £5 (standard, child) and £17 (raised, adult) and £5 (raised, child) – are available from the box office on 01395 222477, or visit www.ledtickets.co.uk.
