AN Exmouth charity dedicated to helping others has undergone a name change.
Permission has been granted to rename Exmouth Clyst Valley Lions Club, the Lions Club of Exmouth.
Permission was given by the Lions Clubs international HQ, in Oakbrook.
Exmouth Lions Club spokesman David Laskey said: "Our Lions Club was formed in 1997 as Clyst Vale (Exe Valley) Lions Club which, in the year 2000, was formally changed to Exmouth (Clyst Valley) Lions Club.
"As a result of which there has always been a certain amount of confusion from many quarters as to our actual club name.
