Exmouth fire crew in lift cage rescue

A crew rescued a person stuck in a lift cage in Rolle Road on Friday (August 25).

The fire service was called out in Exmouth on Friday (August 25) to help a person stuck in a lift cage.

One appliance from Exmouth responded at around 11.55am after reports of the incident in Rolle Road.

A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Crews confirmed one person was stuck in the lift cage and crews got to work using small tools to release the person from the lift cage.”
