TWO women cut off by the tide on Exmouth beach were on Saturday afternoon rescued by the town's lifeboat crew.

TWO women cut off by the tide on Exmouth beach were on Saturday afternoon rescued by the town's lifeboat crew.

The women, thought to be holidaymakers, were cut off by the tide at Littleham cove.

The pair was picked up by the inshore lifeboat crew and returned to the beach at Sandy Bay.
