EXMOUTH inshore lifeboat crew this week rescued a man from a sinking boat near Maer Rocks.
The inshore lifeboat was on Tuesday evening tasked by Brixham coastguard to go shallow waters behind Maer Rocks where a man onboard a 15ft motor boat was bailing out water in a bid to stop the stricken vessel from sinking.
Lifeboat crew Giles White, Ian Taylor and Roy Stott helped pull the boat to shore where it was beached next to the ramp of the new lifeboat station.
