Exmouth lifeboat assists capsized fishing boat

EXMOUTH'S all-weather lifeboat has been tasked to assist a fishing vessel which capsized this morning 25-miles offshore.

EXMOUTH'S all-weather lifeboat has been tasked to assist a fishing vessel which capsized this morning 25-miles offshore.

The crew of the fishing boat were rescued by coastguard helicopter.

A Royal Navy ship in the area is standing by and it is thought the crew from the stricken vessel were airlifted aboard.
