Exmouth library is hosting a workshop giving advice on easing digestive problems using a nutritional approach. Read this and more.
FIRE SAFETY: Devon and Somerset chief fire officer Lee Howell presented a certificate to Bourne Leisure Group, praising fire safety for guests and employees.
The group, which is responsible for Devon Cliffs Holiday Park, at Sandy Bay, is one of the largest providers of holidays in the UK employing 15,000 team members.
This year Bourne Leisure has entered into a single partnership agreement with Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service to improve fire safety standards across their business nationwide.
DEER TALK: An illustrated talk on deer is being held at St John in the Wilderness Church.
It will be given by Father David Ireson on July 26 at 7pm. Entry is free, but there will be a collection for church funds, and tea, coffee and biscuits will be available.
EAT TREAT: Exmouth library is hosting a workshop giving advice on easing digestive problems using a nutritional approach.
Local nutritionist Hazel Pelham, who has 15 years’ experience in helping people with digestive disorders from heartburn, bloating and indigestion to IBS, colitis and Crohn’s, will be running the workshop.
She said: “I’m aiming to provide helpful advice for all ages from collicky babies onwards. You don’t need to be a health food nut to come along.”
The workshop is 7.30pm to 8.30pm on Wednesday, July 17 at Exmouth Library.
