“Ever since secondary school, I’ve been interested in photography. It started out very much as a hobby but I went on to study A-Level at Exmouth Community College and then completed a Diploma Level course at Exeter College receiving a distinction.

“Throughout my studies, I photographed a range of different subjects and during this process I found my love for landscape and macro photography. I often visit Bicton Park, Woodbury Common and Budleigh Salterton, capturing the scenery and nature on show, which constantly changes. It’s amazing what you can find inside a flower!

“In 2017, I decided to make a calendar for ELF (Exeter Leukaemia Fund), a charity very important to me. It was a huge success, raising a large amount of money for a very good cause. This year, I’ve decided to make another calendar for ‘The Warrior Programme’, a charity which helps veterans recover with their emotions after being in military service, another charity very close to my heart.

“Even though my photography started out as a hobby, my aim is to become a more experienced, well-published photographer.
