The Exmouth in Bloom Friends Group has presented its first two Lifetime Membership Certificates, as a result of fundraising efforts.
The first certificate was presented to Pearl Cawse, a former Exmouth in Bloom secretary, who has raised more than �5,000 for the group by organising car boot sales at Elizabeth Hall.
The second certificate was presented to residents of Bronte Court in Salterton Road, who made a large donation to the group in recognition of their efforts to brighten up the town.
The Friends Group currently has 73 members, and Exmouth in Bloom is hoping to get that figure past 100.
Membership costs �5 per person or �10 for a business, group or organisation.
Application forms are available from the Town Hall, Exmouth Library, Exmouth Tourist Information Centre, A la Ronde, Kings Garden Centre, Greenfingers Garden Centre, Garners Home Hardware, Hulham Road Stores and Pet Food Supplies in Exeter Road, or from www.exmouthinbloom.org.uk.
