Police appeal after alleged house burglary in Exmouth

Police are appealing for witnesses after an alleged house burglary in Exmouth.

Exmouth CID are investigating the incident which took place in the Featherbed Lane/Exeter Road area of the town on Thursday, September 6, between 12.40pm and 1.40pm.

Officers say jewellery and high value photographic equipment was stolen after entry was gained to the rear of the house.

Inspector Antonia Weeks said police would like to speak to anyone who has dash cam footage from any vehicles that were passing through the area at the relevant times.

Anyone who has been offered jewellery or photographic equipment for sale, or has any information to help with identifying the offenders or recovering the items, is asked to call 101 quoting crime reference number CR/082379/18
