MORE than 200 people attended an event in Exmouth to view a spectacular array of Christmas lights and festive ornaments.
Scores of people visited the Devoncourt Hotel in Douglas Avenue last Saturday for a ceremony where one of the largest displays of Christmas lights in Exmouth were switched on.
Andrew Stoneman, 46, the hotel’s general manager, said: “People who came up thoroughly enjoyed themselves. It is a true winter wonderland.”
Mr Stoneman added: “I would like to thank the hotel’s gardener, Phil Cowan, maintenance officer, Adam Zrolko and Stuart Preestley, for installing all the decorations.”
There is an open invitation for anyone to visit the Devoncourt to view the display. The lights will be on every evening from 5.30pm until January 3.
