A freak heavy hailstorm transformed Exmouth town centre today (Saturday) to resemble a Winter Wonderland. Shoppers ran for cover as the heavens opened around lunchtime. The spectacle was however shortlived as the downpour lasted less than ten minutes and the resulting covering of ice soon disappeared.
