Exmouth is gearing up for the return of its annual festival at the Imperial Recreation Ground this year.

The free-to-enter event will see nationally-recognised names perform alongside some of Devon’s best musical talents.

Renowned band The Blockheads - formed in 1977 to promote Ian Dury’s New Boots and Panties album - will be performing on Saturday, May 26, from 8.45pm.

Exmouth Festival launches on Friday, May 25, and will also feature the best in arts and culture that the town has to offer.

A spokesperson for organiser Exmouth Town Council said: “The music line-up will be as eclectic
as ever - something to suit everyone’s taste, as well as experiencing something
new.

“There will be a great selection of drop-in workshops on offer, from animation to learning how to juggle.”
