Exmouth fun time athletes excel

COMPETITIVE sportspeople went head-to-head at an athletics event held as part of Exmouth s summer fun time. Robbie Chapman scooped the overall winner prize and finished in first place in the under-16 category. Ben Jones, 14, from Newton Abbot, was second.

COMPETITIVE sportspeople went head-to-head at an athletics event held as part of Exmouth's summer fun time.

Robbie Chapman scooped the overall winner prize and finished in first place in the under-16 category.

Ben Jones, 14, from Newton Abbot, was second. Mike Jeevons triumphed in the men's section with Tom Rodford finishing the line in second place.

Paris Cawley was successful in the women's category. Julia Polland was second.

Meanwhile, the two-week-long Exmouth fun time carnival continues to offer enjoyment to scores of people.

The event, in its 15th year, and held in the grounds of Elizabeth Hall runs until Sunday, August 9. The fair is open each day until 10.30pm.
