Charity volunteers in Exmouth got a festive boost from Tesco and its customers.
Tesco donated £500 to Christian Aid raised through a collection as part of a festive family fun day, organised at the store on Salterton Road. Mark Wright, deputy store manager, handed over a £500 cheque to the charity. Kind-hearted shoppers gave a further £159 in a collection. John Elms, from Christian Aid in Exmouth, said: “We are very grateful for the donation and would like to thank Tesco for its generosity.”
