A CAR wash business in Exmouth raised 213 for the Haiti earthquake appeal.

Your Wash, based in Manchester Street, held an open day where staff attempted to clean as many cars as they could to raise money for survivors of the tragedy.

As well as vehicles being cleaned, a barbecue was held and Uncle Bobby, a clown character handed out balloons.

Aaron Woodyard, 30, the manager of Your Wash, said: "The other lads who work here came up with the idea to do the event.

"It was a day to profile the business and also to do some good for charity.
