Exmouth firefighters take rescue equipment to motorway collision

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 7 - RESCUE equipment from Exmouth fire station was sent to the M5 motorway on Monday afternoon after a car was involved in a collision with the central reservation.

RESCUE equipment from Exmouth fire station was sent to the M5 motorway on Monday afternoon after a car was involved in a collision with the central reservation.

Fire crews from Exmouth, Tiverton and Cullompton arrived at the southbound carriageway, between junctions 27 and 28, shortly after 2.45pm where they found no one was trapped in the vehicle.

The fire crews made the area and vehicle safe before leaving the scene.
