Exmouth firefighters rescue a calf stuck in mud

EXMOUTH firefighters took mud mats to Tiverton on Sunday morning after a calf got stuck in mud.

EXMOUTH firefighters took mud mats to Tiverton on Sunday morning after a calf got stuck in mud.

The police called the fire service to Tidcombe Lane because a calf was stuck up to its neck in mud.

Firefighters from Exmouth, Tiverton and Cullompton wore dry suits and released the calf from the mud using rescue lines and a ventilation fan for propulsion.
