A trio of workmen trapped in a lift on Monday lunchtime were rescued by Exmouth firefighters.
The fire crew was called to a property in Douglas Avenue shortly before 2pm following reports three maintenance men were stuck in a lift.
The fire crew worked alongside a lift engineer to release the men unharmed.
Watch manager Nigel Snowshall said the men were freed after being trapped for around an hour.
“The residents had given them several cups of tea and they weren’t distressed,” said Mr Snowshall.
