Several calls were received by the fire service after a skip was spotted on fire in Exmouth in the early hours of Monday morning.
Firefighters were called to Imperial Road, near the Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant, at 12.45am following reports a builders skip was alight.
The fire crew used two hose reels to tackle the blaze.
