Exmouth firefighters cut free two women from car

RESCUE equipment from Exmouth fire station was on Sunday morning sent to Tiverton where two people were trapped in a car which was involved in a collision with a tree.

RESCUE equipment from Exmouth fire station was on Sunday morning sent to Tiverton where two people were trapped in a car which was involved in a collision with a tree.

Fire crews from Exmouth, Tiverton, Witheridge and South Molton were called to the A361 at Stoodleigh, where they cut free a woman who was taken to hospital by air ambulance.

An elderly woman casualty was also freed by the fire crews and taken to hospital by ambulance.
