Exmouth firefighters called to Sandy Bay holiday camp

EXMOUTH firefighters were called to Devon Cliffs Holiday Park on Saturday evening after it was reported a fire had broken out in one of the camp's clubs.

EXMOUTH firefighters were called to Devon Cliffs Holiday Park on Saturday evening after it was reported a fire had broken out in one of the camp's clubs.

Two fire engines from Exmouth and the water bowser from Exeter attended the scene.

When the crews arrived they found a fire, which had involved a gas heater, was already out so they carried out a thorough check of the area before leaving the scene.
