Exmouth firefighters called to overturned car at Tedburn St Mary

RESCUE equipment from Exmouth fire station was on Wednesday lunchtime sent to a road traffic collision near Tedburn St Mary.

RESCUE equipment from Exmouth fire station was on Wednesday lunchtime sent to a road traffic collision near Tedburn St Mary.

Fire crews from Exmouth, Exeter and Cullompton were called to the road between Heath Cross and Tedburn St Mary after it was reported a person was trapped in a car.

When the crews arrived they found a car had overturned onto its side, but no one was trapped inside.

Exmouth firefighters returned to base while Exeter and Cullompton crews made the area safe.

The police were also on scene to control the traffic.
