Exmouth firefighters called to Littleham kitchen fire

EXMOUTH firefighters were called to Littleham on Wednesday afternoon following reports a smoke detector was sounding at a home in Village Close.

EXMOUTH firefighters were called to Littleham on Wednesday afternoon following reports a smoke detector was sounding at a home in Village Close.

When the fire crew arrived shortly after 4pm they discovered a fire had broken out in a ground floor flat kitchen cooker.

The fire was out on the crew's arrival so the firefighters used a ventilation fan to clear smoke from the property.
