Exmouth firefighters called to cooker fire

EXMOUTH firefighters were called to an Exeter Road home on Wednesday evening following reports a cooker was on fire.

EXMOUTH firefighters were called to an Exeter Road home on Wednesday evening following reports a cooker was on fire.

The fire crew arrived shortly before 6pm, where they found a small fire had broken out in a gas cooker.

The fire was already out on the crew's arrival, so the firefighters carried out an inspection of the property and made the area safe.
