Exmouth firefighters attend traffic collision and other news

Firefighters from Exmouth were tasked to recover a vehicle involved in a collision near Blackhill Quarry, Woodbury Common. Read this and more.
QUIZ NIGHT: The Magnolia WI is holding a quiz evening on Friday, May 25, in the Bidmead Hall, Littleham Road.
The doors open at 7pm, with the quiz starting at 7.30pm. Entry is £3 per person, to include a light supper. Maximum entry per team is four.
COLLISION: Firefighters from Exmouth were on Monday lunchtime tasked to recover a vehicle involved in a collision near Blackhill Quarry, Woodbury Common.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said the crew was called at around 12.30pm.
A fire service spokesperson said: “One pump from Exmouth attended reports of road traffic collision assist on a single-lane carriageway. Crews assisted police with recovery of the vehicle.”
CLAIRVOYANCE: An evening of clairvoyance is being held at 8pm on Friday, June 15, at Exmouth’s Moose Hall, in Church Road.
Nicky Gard, from Tiverton, will lead the evening, organised by Exmouth Spiritual Circle of Light. Entry is £4. The group holds a church service at 3pm on the last Sunday of each month at Palmer House, in Churchill Road. Medium Pam Bear from Plymouth will lead the service on May 27.
