Exmouth firefighters attend motorway collision

MONDAY, OCTOBER 6 - FIREFIGHTERS from Exmouth were sent to the M5 motorway last night when it was reported a vehicle had been involved in a collision.

FIREFIGHTERS from Exmouth were sent to the M5 motorway last night when it was reported a vehicle had been involved in a collision.

Exmouth fire crew took rescue equipment to the northbound carriageway, near Sampford Peverell, Tiverton, shortly after 10pm.

Finding no one was trapped at the scene, firefighters from Exmouth, Tiverton and Cullompton made the vehicle safe.

The police also attended the scene.
