Exmouth fire crews tackle electrical fire

EXMOUTH firefighters were called to the home of a Littleham pensioner on Saturday morning after an electrical fire broke out.

EXMOUTH firefighters were called to the home of a Littleham pensioner on Saturday morning after an electrical fire broke out.

The fire crews were called to Mountain Close shortly after 10.30am where they made the war veteran's home safe until someone from Western Power arrived.

The fire service said a small fire had broken out in a ground floor electrical intake cupboard.
