Exmouth fire crew called to Tiverton accident

AN Exmouth fire rescue team was sent to an accident in Tiverton to free two people trapped under a car.

AN Exmouth fire rescue team was sent to an accident in Tiverton to free two people trapped under a car.

Two appliances from Tiverton and the Rescue Tender from Exmouth were mobilised to a report of a collision involving two vehicles on the A396, Exeter Road, Bickleigh.

Two sets of hydraulic rescue equipment were used to release one woman who was taken to hospital by the ambulance and one man who was taken by the air ambulance.
