Exmouth fire crew attends motorway car crash

SPECIALIST rescue equipment from Exmouth fire station was taken to the M5 motorway on Wednesday morning after it was reported people were trapped in vehicles involved in a collision.

SPECIALIST rescue equipment from Exmouth fire station was taken to the M5 motorway on Wednesday morning after it was reported people were trapped in vehicles involved in a collision.

When fire crews from Exmouth, Cullompton and Tiverton arrived at the northbound carriageway shortly before 6am they found a two car collision, where one vehicle had left the road.

No one was trapped in the vehicles, so the fire crews made the scene safe.

The police and ambulance also attended the incident.
