A SPRING fete is being held in Exmouth on Thursday April 9 to help raise funds for an Exmouth brain injury centre.

The Easter-themed fete will be held at the Open Door Centre, in Church Street, from 10.30am-2.30pm, to raise funds for people with brain injuries.

A host of stalls have been planned, including face painting, home made cakes, books and hand made Easter eggs.

Refreshments will also be served.

Headway Devon's Exmouth centre manager Diana Barriball said: "There will be something for everyone at the fete. We are close to the centre of town so we hope that lots of people will drop by during the day for coffee, cake and a chance to win some wonderful prizes.

"It's important that we raise funds because there are a great many people in Exmouth and across East Devon who are living with the effects of an acquired brain injury.

"We can help them by providing specialist rehabilitation and support."
