EXMOUTH Festival and Transition Town Exmouth are joining forces to host an Environment Fair on the Strand next Friday.

The fair, which starts at 10.30am until 4pm on May 29, will see a day of events involving residents in all aspects of the town's environment.

Kids can get involved in shelter building, basic wood craft, cobweb making and tree cookie making.

While 'lapsed' cyclists can get their bikes repaired with a 'donations only' repair shop hosted by Exmouth Cycles.

They will show you how to repair the problems that have kept you off your bike as well as give up to date information from the Cycle Path Exmouth Group about the future plans for Exmouth cycle ways.

Creative Exmouth will take you on a journey celebrating the beauty of Exmouth, using photographs and poems - and local artists will express their favourite aspects of Exmouth.

Sewers and weavers will show traditional methods of fleecing and bunting and making home made shopping bags in an event organised by Plastic-Bag Free Exmouth.

And finally A La Ronde will provide activities for children and give information on their summer season of events.
