Exmouth dog stuck down rabbit hole
THE Exmouth owner of a missing Jack Russell has drafted in expert help to find her much-loved pet. Seven-year-old Suki disappeared down a rabbit hole on the Maer on Monday and since then her owner, Ann Turton, has kept a vigil for the family pet's safe return
THE Exmouth owner of a missing Jack Russell has drafted in expert help to find her much-loved pet.
Seven-year-old Suki disappeared down a rabbit hole on the Maer on Monday and since then her owner, Ann Turton, has kept a vigil for the family pet's safe return.
On Monday the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service urban search and rescue team used specialist listening equipment to search for the dog.
On Tuesday Mrs Turton called in a tracking expert and his dog in the hope her pet would be found.

The heartbroken owner said: "People who don't have dogs don't understand it's like looking for a missing person - the house is empty without her.
"We won't give up looking for her."

Missing Suki disappeared for ten days three years ago while chasing rabbits on the cliff tops at Budleigh Salterton.
